THE CHALLENGE

The purpose of this project is to conduct a full usability test on any digital experience. The end goal was to locate any design inconsistency and usability problems within the existing device. The results will be used to make an infographic that indicates any errors within the product and to make suggestions for future improvements.

THE PLAN

PART ONE: EXPLORATORY

This part was focused on gathering information and insights on the current application. The goal was to determine how practical and useful the app was. I started by observing the wait time, order time, satisfaction level, and how busy a location is with both walk-in and mobile costumers. The observation was done on different days at different times and locations to ensure that the results are not dependent on any particular place or time.

RESULTS OF PART ONE

PART TWO: WALKTHROUGH

This part targeted more towards potential design errors and satisfaction, and this was done by having a small target group to complete a list of scenarios while recording their thoughts and feedback. At the very end, each person was asked to complete a post-test/scenario questionnaire. The answers in the questionnaire would help determine which area users have the most common issue in and which problem is most difficult for users.
